Rec is a Spanish zombie horror film released in 2007.The movie is about a news crew venturing into a quarantined building where a zombie outbreak has occurred. Rec short of Record centers on a reporter and her cameraman covering a fire fighter involvement in a flat building in Barcelona. As the situation escalates, after some of the building’s tenants show animalistic and mortal behavior, the reporter and cameraman find themselves confined inside the perilous building. Rec co written and directed by aume Balagueró and Paco Plaza . is one of the few films where the found footage aspect works incredibly well. You feel just as claustrophobic as the characters, making for a tense, engaging experience. Rec is also remade in Hollywood as quarantine in 2008.

I am legend is a science fiction zombie horror thriller released in 2007. This will smith starrer movie is about Robert Neville the last man alive busies himself with preparing for a nightly attack from the rest of the world. This rancis Lawrence directorial movie is based on the 1954 novel of the same name by Richard Matheson.The story is set in New York City after a virus, which was originally created to cure cancer, has wiped out most of mankind, leaving Will smith’s character Robert Neville as the last human in New York, other than nocturnal mutants. He attempts to find a way to reverse the effects of the man-made virus by using his own immune blood. The 1964’s The Last Man on Earth and 1971’s The Omega Man are also portrayed the same story.

It does a brilliant job of carrying over the pessimistic themes from the first film, and it contains some amazing action sequences.

Unlike other horror movies, you actually care about the supporting actors, and each one is given a shocking amount of depth. At its core, it’s about a father wanting to safeguard his daughter but coming up short until the very end. It pulls you in and doesn’t let go.
