10. Force

Force was one of the biggest action films that Bollywood witnessed in the beginning of last decade. This john Abraham starrer movie was a remake of Tamil movie Kakha kakha staring Surya. Apart from Hindi; Kakha kakha was remade in Telugu, Kannada and Urdu. Force was a path breaking movie of John Abraham’s career as he got back his action hero image through this movie. This Nishanth Kamath directorial movie was released in 2011. Force was the debut movie of Martial art expert Vidyut Jamval . He played the villains role in force whereas Genelia Dcouza played the love interest of John Abraham. Force released on 30 September 2011, and received mostly positive reviews and John Abraham’s performance was acclaimed by public and critics. A sequel to force was made in 2016 staring John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha

09.Singham

This is again a remake of Tamil movie with the same name Staring Surya. This 2011 movie was directed by action comedy king Rohit Shetty. Singham was the first installment of the  Police Universe created by Rohit shetty. The film stars Ajay Devgn  DCP Bajirao Singham, with Kajal Aggarwal playing his love interest and Prakash Raj playing the main opponent. Singham was huge hit at the box office which earned ₹876 million in India on the first day and a worldwide total of ₹1.57 billion. The second sequel of Singham was released in 2014 in the name Singum rerurns. The The third installment of Rohit Shetty’s Police Creation was released in 2018 in the name Simba staring Ranveer Singh. And Sooryavanshi, the fourth Franchise of Singham featuring Akshay Kumar, Ranveer singh and Ajay Devgun will be released after the lock down.

08.Commando

While watching action movies, the audience eagerly looking for the fights done by the hero. And if the hero is an expert in multiple martial arts, then it will be a treat for action movie lovers.  Watching Vidyut Jamval in action sequences is an eye catchy experience for the audience. 3 installments of commando are released in the last decade featuring this well trained martial art expert. Commando released in 2013 is considered as the best among the 3.  Pooja chopra was the heroin of Vidyut jamval in this  action thriller film directed by Dilip Ghosh .Following it Commando 2: The Black Money Trail in 2017 and Commando 3 in 2019 were released.

07.Kesari

Akshay Kumar who once had a Khiladi image was considered as the best action film hero of the Bollywood. But later when his romantic comedy films became much popular he concentrated on such films and we missed Akshay’s high intense action movies. But through Kesari released in 2019 he came back in to so-called action movies. In this Action war film directed by Anurag Singh, Akshay played the role of Havaldar Ishar Sigh the British Indian Army Soldier who lead 21 Sikh soldiers in a fight against 10,000 Pashtun attackers. This historical movie based on 1897’s battle of saragarhi was produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. Parineeti chopra was in the female lead in this movie. Kesari grossed over ₹207 crore worldwide and also received positive reviews from critics.

06. Dabangg

Salman khan is known as the sultan of action movies. Action movie lover’s favorite super star contributed a huge number of Action movies over the last 10 years. Dabangg stands out among them because of the iconic character Chulbul pandey. 3 sequels of Dabangg had made in the last decade featuring Salman Khan as Chulbul pnadey . Dabangg released in 2010 was an enormous hit at the box office. Dabangg received honors in major film award functions in India. Among them, it won a National Film Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Dabangg was produced by Salman khan’s brother Arbaz Khan who also done a key role in the film. 05. Uri: The Surgical Strike

This movie based on the true event is known as the one of the best military action movie made in Bollywood. The plot is a dramatized account of the retribution to the 2016 Uri attack, following Major Vihaan Singh Shergill of the Indian Army, who plays a leading role in the events. The film was released on 11^th  January 2019 and earned ₹342 crore worldwide. 

The movie acknowledged mostly positive reviews from critics. Uri directed by debutante Aditya Dhar won several Awards including 4 national awards. The lead actor Vicky Kaushal won the national award for best actor. Paresh rawal and Yami Goutham  also played prominent roles in this Military action drama.

04. Baaghi2

Tiger Shroff who is well known for his adventurous action performances is the action director’s favorite Bollywood actor. Because of this, Action movie lovers call him as Jacke chan of Bollywood. All of his movies were action packed from the beginning of his career itself. Among them Baaghi 2 is the best action movie of Tiger Shroff released in the last decade. This Ahmed khan directorial movie was the remake of Super hit telugu movie kshnam. Baaghi 2 was released worldwide on 30 March 2018.It was praised for the action scenes performed by Tiger Shroff. Baaghi 2 follows the life of Ranveer an army officer who sets out to find and release his ex-girlfriend’s daughter from the grasps of her kidnappers in Goa. The film also features Disha patani, Partheik babbar and Manoj bajpaye.

03. Raees

The King Khan of Bollywood appeared in movies with different genre over the last 10 years. Among the action movies Raees is considered as the best of Sharukh Khan released in the last decade. This action crime thriller is said to be based on criminal Abdul Latif’s life. However, the filmmakers denied this, This Rahul Dolakia directorial movie was produced by Sharukh’s wife Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment along with Excel Entertainment. Raees was released on 25 January 2017 and it received optimistic reviews from the critics and was a success at Box office. Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were also done vital roles in Raees.

02. Ek tha Tiger

As this video is to pick up the best action film made over the last 10 years, we don’t have any other choice rather than Ek tha Tiger at the second position. Because the action sequences that we watched in Ek tha Tiger confused us that we are watching a Hollywood movie. Bollywood’s biggest super star Salman Khan surprised the audience with his high intense stunts and fights at his 50+ age. In this romantic action thriller film directed by Kabir Khan, Sallu bai played the role of RAW agent. The movie revolves around Salman’s Character Tiger, the spy of India tasked with recuperating info before it is gained by Pakistan, but is unfocused after falling in love with a Pakistani agent during the mission. Katrina kaif as Pakistani agent joined back with Salman after few years through this film. The film received tribute for the performances of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff as well as the action sequences.
